The Office of Exceptional Student Services is one of the departments of Aurora Public Schools. It offers various programs and services for students with special needs. The department serves students with speech, language, hearing, physical and health disabilities. The Office of Exceptional Student Services provides occupational therapy, transition planning and visual services. It additionally offers psychological, orientation, health, and speech and language services. The department provides several autism services, such as behavior intervention, language development, emotional support and social skills development. In addition, it offers a range of vocational services, including career assessment and planning, job-shadowing experiences, on-the-job training and job placement. The Office of Exceptional Student Services is located in Aurora, Colo.
