Operational since 1933, Goodwill Industries of Northern New England has been a multi state human services organization and network of nonprofit businesses. Its network of businesses include, retailer with 25 stores in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, donation sites, an online auction site, wiping cloth manufacturer/distributor and international salvage sales/export. The organization provides rehabilitation, employment and residential support to individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. These include substance abuse counseling, neuropsychological assessment,physical/occupational/speech/recreational therapy and community based situational assessment, among others.
