Operated by Bay City Public School District, Western High School offers classes from grades nine through 12. It offers students courses based on interests and career preparation choices. The school s curriculum is aligned with Michigan standards and it offers advanced placement classes where in students can earn college credit, dual enrollment, and fine and industrial arts programs. The school s extracurricular activities comprise music, sports and clubs, such as a voluntary club that works in the community for social causes. Its sports programs include football, basketball, swimming, golf, ice hockey, softball, tennis and swimming. The school s amenities include gymnasium, various athletic facilities, computer laboratories, and library and media center. Western High School was established in 1973 and is located in Auburn, Mich.
