They taxed my unheated $5 foot long sub which was supposed to be $5 even. They refuse to inform me about adding that tax. Went to another subway and only paid $5 even for the same sub

This food is fine and service is typical.....however their sales tax policy is way out of line. I have never paid sales tax on cold sandwiches ordered to "To Go". When I was charged tax at this store I was told "they charge tax on everything". I needed the sandwiches.......However I won't be back!!!!!! Where's the money really going?
This is one of those preference places that start a lot of arguments with your friends. Which sandwich stop is better? I have people that swear by Subway and others that like Togos, some that like Quiznos and others that like local shops. I have to say that I don't much like Subway for their prices and assortment. Everything I've had there is ok. I haven't had anything terrible or anything out of this world awesome. Therefore it is not my favorite. I could easily walk a few feet to Bell Air Grocery and buy all the stuff that it takes to make the same sandwich and make it better and way cheaper and probably healthier. Supposedly its healthier than the other places and it is cheaper but lacks some interesting tastes and the wow factor.
