- Oil ChangeOil changes are cheap insurance for your engine- oil is the lifeblood of your car! Often times, manufacturers will recommend intervals that are much higher than what is healthy for the vehicle simply because they are the ones paying for it (*cough* BMW MAINTENANCE PROGRAM *cough*)...
- Engine Tune-Up
- Exhaust System RepairThe exhaust system of your vehicle starts at the motor. It serves an extremely important job, taking the exhaust gases away from the engine and filtering through the emissions system to lower the Co2. The sounds you hear from the exhaust can range from a deep rich rumble to a higher pitched vroom when you hit the gas. For many vehicles, there is no exhaust sound, and this is imparted to the many parts fitted from the manifold to the tailpipes, including mufflers, resonators, and catalytic converters. Problems can occur at any point of the system and may require exhaust repair to restore full function, eliminate unwanted noises, and improve fuel economy.
- Starter RepairMost modern cars utilize electric starters. These are, essentially, a relatively small motor that is driven with a higher voltage and current that would be reasonable for a continuous operation. This allows the starter to deliver enough power to crank and start the engine. At such a high voltage level, the starter should burn out after just a few short minutes of continuous operation. But it shouldn’t burn out during the few seconds that are needed to start the engine of the vehicle.
- Alternator RepairIf it is determined to be the alternator causing all the problems with starting, no worries! We offer alternator repair services that will have the issue fixed in no-time. For most vehicles, it is easier to replace a worn out alternator, especially if it is older. On other cars, it can be more cost-effective to have the part repaired versus being replaced. We will look at both options before proceeding with any service to ensure you have the best repair at the best pricing.

- Engine DiagnosticTypically, the first step to performing an engine diagnostic test is for the mechanic or repairman to plug a device into the onboard computer located within the vehicle. Located just under the dashboard on the driver’s side, there is typically a space for the mechanic or repairman to plug in the computer. The device that is plugged in will interface with the computer. It will then return a diagnostic code that the mechanic or repairman can use and refer back to a list of codes from the manufacturer of the vehicle. If everything is fine, the user will be informed by the device. However, the device may contain one or more codes if something is wrong with the vehicle.
- Spark Plug ReplacementTalk of the few top-quality and high performing machines; you cannot miss any of the Audi RS models. For sure, the RS4 compact executive car, the RS5 Coupe or Cabriolet cars, the RS7 Sportback, and the TT RS sports cars are among the few speedy and comfortable vehicles in the world today. However, it is always challenging to get their spare parts when repairing and maintaining them. You also need very skilled personnel to handle such precious engines. At Ryan GMW, these issues are no longer things to worry about because we are the best. We offer the best solutions to common problems like spark plug replacement, motor and brake pad replacement, and bumper replacement.
- Emissions InspectionEngine diagnostic testing is used by the mechanic to gather the necessary data needed to repair the vehicle and get the engine light to go off. Engine diagnostics can be used for other things as well; such as, emission testing. Each vehicle belongs to a class, and each class of vehicles have emission standards they must adhere too. Engine Diagnostics can be used in emission testing to make sure the vehicle meets those standards.
- Timing Belt/Chain Replacement
- Fuel Injection Service/RepairFuel injectors have a component that sprays fluids. These liquids must be sprayed widely so that a spark can ignite. If the nozzle becomes clogged, the fuel injector will not produce a flame. When this happens, the vehicle will use less power and more gas. Three steps must be taken to completely clean a fuel injection system. The first step involving cleaning the injector, the fuel lines, and the gas pump with a cleaner. After the cleaner is added to the gas, the technician will start the engine to begin the cleaning process. Then, another cleaner will be apply directly on the engine while it is warm. This technique will help the technician remove carbon deposits and gunk out of the combustion chambers.

- Steering Service/RepairThere are actually more components to the power steering system than just the steering wheel. The power steering system is there to basically make steering easier for the driver. It consists of five main parts. The first is the power steering pump which is operated through a belt and pulley system. The next is the steering wheel and steering rack which tells the car which way to go. The power steering system also contains a speed sensor, which senses how fast the car is going and power steering fluid that keeps everything running smoothly.
- Air Conditioning Service/RepairMany of today’s vehicles incorporate an integrated heating and air conditioning system so that some parts of the climate control system are working hard throughout the entire three hundred and sixty five days of the year. The comfort you experience while driving improves a great deal when the heating and air conditioning are in good working condition. Working like a refrigerator, your air conditioning system pumps Freon through an evaporator that is located under the dashboard. The Freon will absorb the heat from the passenger side and circulate that heat through a condenser.Once the heat circulates through the condenser, it is released through the grill located on the front of your vehicle. When the climate control system is operating correctly, the process is a constant one that will result in you experiencing both a cool and comfortable driving environment.

- Tire RepairPunctures that are located within the tread area can damage a greater area of the tire (example: the inner sidewall). If you do not remove the tire, it will be harder to see all of the damage that has occurred. Having proper tire repair is crucial. Any puncture or injury that has happened to a tire will affect its performance or worse cause a blowout. With our tire repair shop services, we will inspect the tire first to make the determination if it is repairable. If found it can be repaired, we will inform you before starting any service.
- Wheel AlignmentIn order to maintain control over your vehicle, being able to steer it correctly is essential. This requires the suspension system to be fully functioning and the car to have and maintain a proper wheel alignment. Telltale signs that your vehicle may be having steering problems and thus be out of alignment are really not easy to miss. First of all, if you notice uneven or excessive wear on your tires, they may be out of alignment if you experience poor steering control while you are driving your vehicle, which is another major sign that the alignment is out of whack. Also experiencing excessive bouncing may mean that the car isn’t aligned properly. If you notice any of these systems, your best bet is to take your vehicle into the shop. Skilled auto mechanics can fix the alignment issues and ensure that your ride is smooth before you leave the shop.

If you need an auto battery replacement service, there are a wide range of auto batteries that can be offered to ensure the best combination of both longevity and power for your vehicle. You should not wait until the battery has died to have the health of your battery checked out, by then it could be too late.
- Electrical Service/RepairAlternators are used for the purpose of charging the battery in the vehicle. They’re used to power the electrical system located within the car when the engine is running. Think about when you turn on your headlights at night. They don’t draw power from the battery; they get the juice from the alternator. Likewise, if you were to turn on your headlights or radio while your car was off, it would be getting power from the battery. The alternator is constantly spinning thousands of rotations within one minute, just to operate all the electrical systems in your car. It is no surprise that this essential component, over time, will wear out.

Issues with the engine, alternator, hoses, and belts may still arise. Climate control and cooling systems can still malfunction and become problems. Diesels also still require scheduled maintenance services. You need a mechanic that knows the ins and outs of a diesel vehicle and can repair and address any issues or concerns that may come up.
- Belts and Hoses ServiceHaving the belts and hoses replaced or checked routinely can save you both time and money throughout the life cycle of your vehicle. Both belts and hoses are responsible for controlling crucial functions within your vehicle. In order to prevent a few of the most common reasons breakdowns occur, you should make sure belts and hose pipes get checked regularly. Every 3,000 miles is the average time when people have their belts and hoses checked.
