The Placer County Office of Education, also known as PCOE, offers a range of business, information technology and communication services. The office works in collaboration with more than 15 individual school districts. It maintains a facilities, planning and construction department. The Placer County Office of Education provides special education programs for students with learning disabilities. The office administers the Juvenile Court and Community Schools (JCCS) program. It maintains K-8 Community Independent Study Home School, which serves students in Placer County in California. The Placer County Office of Education also offers early childhood education and drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention education solutions. It maintains the Rocklin Unified School District and the Foresthill Union School District.
