Located in Atlantic, Iowa, the Nishna Valley Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that offers several sports, athletics and recreational programs. It provides coaching for softball, baseball, basketball, flag football, T-ball, volleyball and martial arts. The Nishna Valley Family YMCA offers 5th Quarter, an Atlantic churches and the YMCA sponsored program for youths in grades 7 through 12. It specializes in group exercise programs and conducts basketball and volleyball leagues. The organization also provides aquatics and group swimming lessons, as well as supports Teaching Learning Caring (TLC), an after-school child care program. Additionally, it conducts field trips, theme weeks, library visitation, and arts and crafts activities for children in kindergarten through grade five.
