I suffered an job related injury resulting in severe events including physical immobility, depression, anxiety, and a stammer. Tim greeted me with open arms and patience, dissecting the 'onion' so to speak in a mission to identify and eliminate my toxic emotions towards stuttering. I had become a recluse and always imagined what people would think of me when I went to events, restaurants, or interacting with co-workers. The exercises allowed me to control my anxiety, transform my approach to speaking, and eventually speak at a public event for Tim's non-profit organization. Would certainly recommend!

My 10 year old son has stuttered off and on since he was five. We've used other therapists offered through our school district or insurance plan in the past but never saw very much progress (considering the time we spent in appts.) and my son did not enjoy the visits. Tim Mackesey makes speech therapy very fun and educational for the child and the parent. He does this in a way that helps build the child's self-confidence and gives him hope that he can overcome stuttering. It's well worth the money for the return that it brings.

Mr. Tim is amazing. My daughter, who is 4.5 years old, started stuttering when she was 3 years old. She was a very early talker. At 3.5 years old we started speech therapy with another speech pathologist. At first, it was fine. We saw some improvement, nothing radical. We went weekly for 4 months. In the 4th month, everything spiraled downward and took a turn for the worse. We could tell that she was frustrated and had lost interest in the program we were doing. I called Mr. Tim and spoke with him at length about the issues we were having. Within a week or less, we had our first appointment. That was in January. We saw him weekly and by May, her stuttering was gone. In late July, she had a small hump with her speech which lasted about 2 weeks. Because of Mr. Tim and the tools that he gives you as a parent and as a child, we had the tools to overcome it. Also, she maintained her confidence through it and didn't see it as a big deal whereas before she used to cover her mouth because she said "it was difficult to talk." My daughter loves going to her appointments because he makes everything fun. I would recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Mackesey gave my son the tools he needed to improve his speech. He is a 6 year old, first grader who speaks beautifully! We are so thankful to have met Tim. He has changed our lives.

Referred by a friend, we could not have been happier with Mr. Tim! He made our daughter feel comfortable and forget why she was even there! Whether playing games or telling stories, he worked the therapy into the session with great results. After six sessions, our daughter can "fix" her words without any problem.
