Standard Concrete Company designs and manufactures a wide variety of prestress and precast concrete products for government and commercial use. In addition to its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, the company has concrete plants in Tampa, Fla., Savannah, Ga., and Atlanta. The Atlanta plant produces Type I, II, III and IV girders and tee girders. It has supplied materials for such major projects as the fifth runway at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, International Boulevard and the 5th Street bridge over Interstate 75. With its design/build capabilities, Standard Concrete Company has an in-house engineering staff that designs the majority of its projects.
