Mentally Free Psychiatry is a holistic mental health practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Mental health nurse practitioner Santissa Clapp, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, started her telehealth practice in 2021. She provides people of all ages and backgrounds a safe place to share their emotions and gives them the tools they need to manage their mental well-being over the long term.Santissa specializes in diagnosing and treating all mental health conditions, like depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and bipolar disorder. She prides herself on being culturally aware and provides help to underserved LGBTQ folks.Santissa uses various forms of psychotherapy, including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotional regulation, to help her patients live the best versions of themselves and show up feeling confident.Though Santissa can prescribe psychiatric medication to manage symptoms, she also offers natural remedies, including cannabidiol (CBD) oil and delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) gummies.
