I would NEVER recommend the Plumb Works location for Water Heater Repair. They were very nice and cordial when I called, and I received a call when the plumber was on his way BUT this is when I began to worry. I described the issue to him (pilot light not lighting) on the phone and right away he said I will come and look at it but most of the time we just have to replace the full water heater. I explained to him the unit was only 3 years old and he said he would be there to look at it soon. After arriving at my house he spent about 3 minutes looking at the unit, tried to light the pilot light (just like I had tried this am) clicked around on his iPad and then informed me that I would need a new unit. I asked if he would do any diagnostics on it and he said he knew the problem and it would need to be fully replaced. I then asked for a quote for the replacement, still not convinced as he has now only been in my house for less then 10 minutes. He then quoted me $1,995 for a new water heater, we just replaced one (from another company) at our old house across town for around $1,000 - I asked about why the cost was so high and he explained that if I had a issue with the cost I could call Home Depot because Plumb Works sells their own brand and it would cost more. I decline his offer, payed the $69 fee for him to come to my house and DO NOTHING and then he proceeds to leave. After I called another plumbing company from across town who we had worked with before, they are quick to respond spent about 30 min troubleshooting my unit, finds out it is under warranty, callis in the part (which was a small bulb on the back of the machine that was broken) and for less than $100 I have hot water again. I cannot imagine if I had dropped $1,995 with Plum Works for a full new unit when it was just a light bulb. They did nothing to help and did not even try and solve the problem. DO NOT USE THEM. You will be ripped off.

Very professional and thorough. I will use them again!!
Josh and Eric are a great team--friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about plumbing issues which can occur in older homes. Both have worked with us on previous calls and this time they paired together for our service renewal inspection. They zeroed in on some possible repairs, a few of which could be put off for later and some which they fixed on the spot (and they always seem to have the necessary parts right in the truck so no delays are involved). Because of such technicians as Josh and Eric, we have the utmost confidence in Plumb Works and will continue to call on them as our regular service/repair plumbing provider.

Joseph S was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. My kitchen sink faucet was leaking. On his first visit (at no charge), he helped me order a replacement faucet on-line. When the faucet was delivered, his return visit was scheduled in two days. I am completely satisfied.

Very helpful but the pricing was high. To fix a leak in my crawlspace was $480!

Jon Hall from Plumb Works is a super great guy - someone you want in your home working on your plumbing! He was clean (wore his booties), courteous, and extremely helpful in giving me the costs associated with each option for repair/replacement. I will definitely use him again, and have added Plumb Works to our condo association preferred vendor list.

Vann is a gracious worker who arrived on time, made a diagnosis and corrected the problem in a jiffy. He even checked to see whether we had a service agreement on file so that we would be charged correctly. We did and we were. Thanks, Vann.

Suddenly finding ourselves with a crisis of caring for two elderly parents and having to bring in immediate nursing care, adding insult to injury, their home's 65 year old sewer pipe burst. We called in PlumbWorks after a nationally recognized company could not attend to the immediate crisis for over 2 weeks. Jamey Beck, the plumbing technician, came out on a Thursday. He quickly assessed the situation letting us know up front that it could be an easy sort of fix or costly replacement. He was always honest, matter of fact and completely transparent with cost. He understood our need to keep our elderly parents in the home and worked tirelessly to resolve the crisis working though the weekend. It was the worse of the two scenarios but Jamey stayed on the job getting toilets working and water running in a very timely manner. We are grateful to Jamey and PlumbWorks for their professionalism and swift repair.
The scheduling with Plumb Works is very efficient. We needed a few changes in the schedule and they accommodated us without any problem. The staff is very friendly. Josh and Max did the work. They are really nice and helpful. Their work is of high quality and they leave the place clean. Josh has done work for us on a number of occasions and we were without exception very happy with it.

Jamey Beck of Plumb Works did a great job installing lavatory faucets for me. He is punctual, clean and neat, and meticulous in his work. He carefully explained the options for me and helped me choose the best one for my situation. I am pleased with the work and will call him again for all my plumbing needs. I also had a pleasant experience with Shannon, who scheduled Jamey for me. She is courteous and helpful, and gave me several options for appointment times.
