I went in to return a car battery today. I had it for 1.5 years (sticker said: Dec 2015). It was a Bosch Platinum Series with a 4-year warranty. They wouldn't exchange it. Called corporate, got approval from the district manager and then went back to the store. The idiots in the store didn't know how to process the exchange. They kept asking me to make up a different phone number but I refused. Anyways, the manager decided that he wanted to be a "big shot". He told me that he wouldn't be exchanging any other batteries for me in the future and then added, "we know who you are". Can you imagine treating a customer like that? I HAD been a customer of Pep Boys for 14 years. I will NEVER be a customer of Pep Boys again and neither should you. If you shop at this or any other Pep Boys' location, it is your own fault if you aren't treated too well because you have been warned. Thank you.
