- Pediatric CareWelcome to Northside Pediatrics! At Northside Pediatrics, we are a team and take advantage of our provider's variety of backgrounds, experiences, and strengths to provide the best patient care. All of our pediatricians are board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Many of our physicians teach or serve on local medical boards and committees. Additionally all of our pediatricians are affiliate physicians at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Northside Hospital.
- Primary CareIf your managed care plan requires a PCP (primary care provider) referral in order to see a subspecialist, a referral request must be completed in advance of your appointment. Our office requires 72-hours' notice to process the referral request.
- Ear InfectionsColds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.
- Family PracticeFirst Things First! If you are using insurance to cover medical expenses, then you need to make sure your potential pediatrician is accepted by your family health plan. Northside Pediatrics is on a vast majority of plans here in Atlanta so check at the bottom of this page to see if we are on yours.
- Emergency CareIf your child needs to be seen outside of our office hours, we do recommend a pediatric specific urgent care or emergency room. Children’s Health Care of Atlanta has multiple pediatric urgent care locations and offers the ability to reserve a spot online prior to arrival. Click the button below to for more information...

- Infectious DiseasesNorthside Pediatrics firmly believes in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illnesses and save lives. We only follow the CDC schedule for vaccine administration which is the one schedule that has been tested as safe and effective for children. We do not follow any alternative vaccination schedules, as the safety and efficacy of these schedules has not been verified. We require all patients to be vaccinated in accordance with the CDC schedule, unless there is a medical contraindication to vaccines, which is very rare and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Our doctors have seen serious and fatal infectious diseases eradicated by vaccines, and we believe vaccines are one of the most important public health improvements of the last century.

- RadiologyMost referrals are done during your office visit with your Northside Pediatrics provider. We will explain the purpose of the referral and provide a list of pediatric specialists that we recommend. It will be your responsibility to verify the specialist is covered on your child’s particular insurance plan. We ask that you call our office back after booking the specialist appointment with date/time of the appointment, so we can make sure any office notes, labs or procedure/radiology notes can be forwarded to the correct doctor with time to spare.
- Acne TreatmentFor some teens and families, puberty can be a difficult transition. At Northside Pediatrics, we are fully prepared and knowledgeable to help you and your teen navigate these years. In addition to our specialized approach to teen well visits, we also routinely discuss and manage birth control (oral contraceptive pills) and acne treatment.
