Simon did a f/u "screening" colonoscopy after cleared from a single polyp in 2004 by his colleague.I present to the hospital scheduling without an office visit and he only saw me for hemorrhoids 4 yrs. earlier.The official report showed only divericula in the sigmoid on FINDINGS. I was stunned when the hospital coded "an_l and rectal hemorrhage" when he placed a quickly written single page stating: "History of colon polyp and rectal..",finishing the phrase of "bleeding" on the wrong next line, "Present Illness". He coded "illness". IF I had bleeding, would I leave with no instructions, no f/u appt.? I tried to correct this through his office, medical records. I wanted to talk with him about his WRONG diagnosis for a normal "screening" colonoscopy. I made an appt. with an Emory patient advocate. When he found out, he had the office cancel my appt. and would not see me or talk to me, including his office. His arrogance to not talk to a pt., cancel an appt. was stunning. I am a physician!
