General Info

Dr. Joanne MacAllaster Cox joined Atlanta Women’s Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1991. She is board certified in obstetrics & gynecology and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She practices both obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Cox is a native Georgian. She is a graduate of Shorter College and the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Cox is married and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, needlework and gardening.
