General Info
Cypress Academy is an in-home tutoring company. The company offers a range of tutoring services: standardized test preparation, academic subject tutoring, and college essay and application guidance. It provides these services to students in the K-8, High School, and Graduate School levels. We are passionate about connecting exceptional tutors to families.

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to work with my tutor Yuying. I can confidently say that she is the best tutor there is. She easily assessed my strengths and weaknesses, and helped me work around my weak points. Her commitment to raising my score was astonishing, and I appreciated the time and effort she put in. I could not recommend her enough, and within the first session, results will be apparent!!!
I was very happy with our tutor who worked with my son for his college application. She was fantastic. She helped him choose the best topic to write. She communicated with him and made sure that he understood all the key elements that the college admission officers were looking for. She is also very flexible with her schedule. Because of an oversea school trip, my son had to submit all his college applications by Jan 1. To meet the deadline, she has worked diligently with my son during the Christmas holidays. She did a great job helping him write a great college essay. My son was accepted to one of his top school choices. We have already recommended your service to friends and we are filled with gratitude and appreciation.
My 11th grader used Cypress Academy for her SAT's last October to December. Our tutor was always on time and seemed to get along great with my daughter. She ended up taking an exam in October then again in December. Although the first test did not show much improvement the test in December showed 130+ points increase. We were VERY happy and glad we took this step... Our tutor proved extremely helpful, resourceful, and committed to my daughter's improvement, not to mention very patient with her progress. It may not seem like the results are there in the beginning, but they did happen over time with us!!! This is for those of you out there who may be going through what we did...
