I have been coming to the Auditory-Verbal Center for Auditory-Verbal Therapy for a few months now. My son has a hearing loss in both ears and wears hearing aids. It has been such a whirlwind since he was diagnosed at 6 months. The staff at the Auditory-Verbal Center have been amazing through this whole process. They are very understanding of all the emotions that go along with this process. Since starting at AVC our son has made a lot of progress- you can tell that he is hearing his name being called and will turn his head to other sounds. I can’t imagine having my child live in a silent world and AVC has helped our family to live in a hearing world with our son. I can’t imagine life without the Auditory-Verbal Center. I would recommend AVC to any family who has a child with a hearing loss.
I have been a client of the Auditory-Verbal Center for years. I have always had a great experience every time I go into the office, and that is what keeps me coming back. The audiologist and all the staff at AVC are great- they are very friendly, always professional and I never have to wait very long before I am seen. The audiologist spends quality time with me every time I come in for an appointment. She takes the time to explain the results of my testing in a way that is easy to understand and what my options are. I also bought my hearing aids from AVC and the whole process was great. They have a great warranty, with a loss and damage policy and you receive free batteries for 3 years with your hearing aid purchase. I would recommend AVC to all my friends!
I really enjoyed coming to the Auditory-Verbal Center and getting my child's hearing evaluation done there. It was easy to get an appointment and everything was easy from the beginning to end of my time there. The audiologist explained everything she was doing during the evaluation and then told me the results in a way that was very easy to understand. She was very child friendly. I would recommend the Auditory Verbal Center to all my friends for all of their hearing needs.
