I visited 656 to celebrate a friend's birthday. We ordered our food around 6:00pm. At about 7, the waitress, who had not come back to the table for an hour, came out with food for 2 of the 9 people in our party. When we asked about our food she explained that the kitchen was backed up. This is understandable, however, she should have updated us before an hour had passed. About 10 minutes later, we still hadn't received our food and the manager was called over. She asked what we oredered and apologized for the mix up. Eventually everyone got their food. I did not rate it one star because the manager remained professional ans the waitress was never disrespectful. However, I refuse to pay money for such horrible service. Despite the manager's effort to make up for it (by only charging us for our drinks), my experience was very unsatisfactory. Also, two people in my party were accused of leaving without paying for their drinks. However, we saw them pay and how xould they have paid foe thier foos and not their drink if it was all on the same ticket. Another friend ended up paying for their drinks because they were not there to prove that they paid.
