Friendly staff but I don't approve of them selling dogs. There is shelters out there that will come out and do adoptions which will bring in more business for them. I only go there for supplies for my dog and 3 cats.

Petland sells a lot pocket pets, hamsters of different varieties, rats, mice, ferrets, rabbits, etc. However, when it comes to the smaller of these (rats, mice, hamsters) they do a poor job housing them, mixing females and males together (which could lead to unwanted pregnancies), and other immoral practices (picking up rats and mice by their tails, throwing them around) . Most notably sold are their wide variety of puppies, most certainly from mills, and displayed in small compartments, through glass. These puppies sit on wire cage floors without access to food for most of the day. The only thing Petland does right is their fish and birds, which they have a nice selection of and seem to be well cared for, and they also have a wide variety of pet supplies, although some might be morally opposed to shop there due to their mistreatment of most of their pets.
