Unlike Dr. Love who didnt want to put the patient first and didnt want to take the time to contact the insurance.I wouldnt go back to this Dr nor would I ever recommend him.or highly recommended because

Michael Love is a very thorough and cost friendly dentist. Having not been to one for two years and lacking insurance I was afraid to hit the neighborhood dentist up. He assuaged all my fears and was definitely reasonable when it came to paying. It was 4 years since my last dentist visit when I recently found these guys. I felt that the dentist as well as the hygienist were very careful not to cause pain and to also keep me in the loop as to what was going on. They showed me my x-rays and explained everything. I have an insurance with, well...not too many good selections in NYC. After some terrible experiences with some dentists in Manhattan, I found Dr. Love after a lot of cross referencing between my insurance website and Yelp. And boy am I glad I did. These guys are the real deal when it comes to dentists. No BS, no fancy overcharges for things you don't need, just two dentists that obviously know what they are doing and have been doing it well for a long time. As previous reviews have said, Dr. Love explains everything very well and will have you in and out in a painless and prompt fashion, without a huge bill. This place is GREAT. Its convenient and a block away from the N and Q Lines in Astoria. Close to all the major shopping as well. The office is in a home and although Howard Love is Cool, Honest, Nice and is definitely not going to BS you into getting procedures done if you don't need them. His office was efficient, clean and pleasant and he is very knowledgeable. You can ask him any stupid question and he will answer it with a smile :) The office has up to date technology and he has a soft hand with means NO PAIN! YAY! Highly recommended. -Alexis R. I initially saw Dr. Love's Hygenist (I think her name is Maria), not only did she do a great job cleaning my teeth, but there was no pain involved. Unfortunately I had two cavities, so had to get them filled by Dr Howard Love. I think this is the first dentist who didn't have to shoot me up multiple times with novocain and a visit to did not leave me in excruciating pain afterwards.
