General Info
Ferrari Driving School is the largest driver training school in the NYC metro area founded in 1968. Our Professional Driving Instructors are bilingual, college trained and NYS Certified. We have a large fleet of well-maintained dual controlled cars for regular driver license as well as motorcycle training. CDL (Commercial Driver License) training on Tractor-Trailers, Buses, and Trucks. OSHA Construction equipment training and forklift certification. We provide high quality instruction and help you prepare for your road test. We also provide training for a large variety of city, state and federally funded programs; as well as business fleet training.

I had a good experience with Ferrari Driving School. They were very helpful in teaching me how to drive a school bus. I ended up passing my drivers test the first time and I passed it easily. I now have a CDL B with S and P endorsements and Air Brakes. I took the 13 lesson package deal I believe, It was like 700 dollars if I remember correctly.
I saw some bad reviews so I wanted to write a good one, because they gave me legit help in passing my CDL B test the first time. They teach you want you need to know but it's up to you to apply that knowledge. Good school, good instructors, honest review.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE
Amazing experience with Ferrari Driving School, good customer service, well organized specially the instructor Alfredo, he is amazing, the best, he really cares about students passing, he is so patient, really profesional, a really nice personality, you will feel confortable with him, he will make you laugh, he is the best professor at ferrari... Take Alfredo if you want to pass and have a great time while practicing... Thank You Alfredo for being so patient with me and helped me pass my road test...

Ferrari is the best driving school in town.I took my 5hrs pre-licencing class there and got a lot of information about defensive driving. They also help me scheduled the road test with the dmv and all went fine.I have always had problems with parallel parking but my instructor (Robert) taught me in less than 20mins and pass my road test.

A previous review prompted me to write mine. In regards to the evaluation lesson: I found this very helpful in determining my package. I did not feel pressured to over buy but I believe I was led to purchase the correct number of lessons.
Excellent vehicles to learn in. When I took my first lesson I was pleasantly surprised because I think my car was BRAND new. The staff was courteous and friendly and my instructor was so knowledgeable that I felt confident driving with him
I had a Great experience there from the staff to the instructors .... now thats back in 2007 ... but I'm sure it hasn't changed that much ..I recieved My CDL/B/P/S and Im going back to touch up on some things but all in all I got what I needed from this school and more it all depends on you!!!!

DON'T recommend at all; customer service is terrible. My husband is a Veteran, wanting to take lessons for a CDL license, but apparently he's not worth a return call. We've left three voicemails, requesting a call back from the person in charge of handling Veterans' issues, like the GI Bill, but we're still waiting...but not for long. we're looking for another school that wants our business. (grade:F)

I got my license with them years ago and had a solid experience but I recently sent my girlfriend and saw how many improvments they have made. She got assigned an advisor that helped her through every step. I also liked how she got email confirmation for payments and schedule. Glad to see a drviing school step it up to the 21st century.
I have seen their TV commercials for years and when I decided to get my truck license I thought of them. Glad I did, I not only got my license but they also helped me get a job.

Good school... my wife learned how to driver with them & I got my motorcycle license.
This is great! Someplace where people can learn how to parallel park! Even my driver's education class in high school didn't teach this very well. I will pass the word along!
The trucking industry always needs good drivers. I have searched the Internet and this seems to be one of the better places to go. They have experience in other areas as well which gives them expertise in what they do. Many driving schools do not have that expertise.
I signed up with them online, one person contacted me, signed me up, and I had no problems whatsoever. No billing issues either ... anyway, I highly recommend them as they are the largest school in the area for bikes (love'em), cars, trucks(CDL), and such.
Ferrari's experience really shines through.They were very informative/helpful, my instructor was great, & his car was brand new.Loved that they gave lessons 7 days week also.
