Walnut Elementary School is a learning center that provides educational classes to students in kindergarten through grade six. It has a library media center that supports the school curriculum and assists students in the use of current and appropriate information and encourages reading as a lifetime activity. The school provides educational classes in various subjects, such as art, music, basic skills, math, science, social studies, reading, creative writing, spelling, and health and physical education. It has a team of guidance counselors that counsel students regarding personal and academic problems. Walnut Elementary School is a part of Teays Valley Local Schools and is located in Ashville, Ohio.
