The Lake Area Recovery Center is a private, nonprofit organization that offers treatment and prevention services to people with addictive and compulsive behavior . Operational since 1967, it is accredited by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. The organization is funded by the Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, Ashtabula County Department of Job & Family Services and United Way of Ashtabula County. The Lake Area Recovery Center offers a variety of awareness, education, training and systems development services. The organization also provides consulting, program development and group support solutions. It offers drug and alcohol assessment, continuing care, crisis management, group therapy and intervention training services for adults. The Lake Area Recovery Center is located in Ashtabula, Ohio.
