- Medical Weight LossFollowing the diet guidelines above may result in weight loss. Additionally, don’t forget exercise as an important part of your daily routine. - Primary CareThe focus of treatment at Advanced Pain Care is effective relief with minimal use of opioid (narcotic) medications or surgery. However, when necessary, Dr. Greenberg will manage pain medications as well as work with your primary care provider to refer for surgical intervention.
- Internal MedicineIt became apparent to Dr. Greenberg early in his career that mainstream Medicine had significant limitations in understanding and treating chronic pain. The differentiation of chronic pain as a specific disease different than the protective normal acute pain response to injury has led doctors to use ineffective and at times dangerous treatments, such as high dose opioids. This insight led Dr. Greenberg to seek concepts and treatments for chronic pain from a wide variety of non-traditional sources. However, a scientific basis and data-driven confirmation of effectiveness is still the underpinning of any treatment Dr. Greenberg uses. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Pain Management, as well as a certified Orthobiologics Method Provider.
- UltrasoundIt is important to know that all “PRP” is not the same. There are different ways of collecting and processing the cells which can result in a wide range of end products—and some definitely work better than others. Dr. Greenberg uses a method that has been refined and extensively studied, and has had an excellent track record for many conditions. Also, keep in mind that the technique for placing the PRP is crucial. Dr. Greenberg uses direct real-time visualization of the injections either under Ultrasound or Fluoroscopy X-ray to get the best results with every injection.
