TX Holdings is a publicly traded mineral exploration and production company. It acquires producing and nonproducing shallow, low-risk oil and gas leases in the Abilene area of western Texas. The company focuses on acquisitions in Eastland and Callahan counties in western Texas. TX Holdings undertakes a recompletion and work over program that replaces obsolete tank batteries, flow lines and electrical systems. It replaces old rods, tubings, downhole pumps, pumping units and motors. The company administers a waterflood program that helps to increase the flow and maximize the recovery of oil from reservoirs. TX Holdings has acquired a working interest in the Contract Area 1, which is spread over an area of more than 240 acres.
