Verner is an early learning program that serves as a training site for early childhood professionals and students. It offers educational services through the Creative Curriculum, which focuses on the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. The program also provides health services that include nutrition consultation, vision, dental, speech and hearing screenings and therapy services. Verner operates family resource centers in North Carolina. Its centers feature computers and libraries that stocks books, videos and toys. The programs teaching and training services include on-site classes, activities and special projects for college students. In addition, Verner is a provider of the Early Head Start, which is a national program that serves low-income and pregnant mothers.
