While it would seem as though because it is a bakery everything would be fresh, however this is not the case. The only fresh things are pies; everything else: cookies, scones, muffins, cakes, and breads are made and then frozen as soon as they cool. Almost nothing is put out or sold the same day it is made. There are boxes full in the freezer, which you can clearly see into when it's opened by a worker. When something is sold, they simply go to the freezer, take another out, let it thaw, and then put it in the display case. To me, if someone is baking every single morning, they should be able to put out fresh, not frozen then thawed, items
