Located in Asheville, N.C., Women's Health Center provides a range of obstetrical care services. The center offers preconceptual evaluation, prenatal care, ultrasound and fetal assessment services. It conducts deliveries, as well as provides postpartum care services. The center also offers perinatal consulting and high-risk pregnancy evaluation services for its patients. It provides medical and surgical treatment of infertility and reproductive and endocrine disorders. Women's Health Center is a part of the Mountain Area Health Education Center, which is also known as MAHEC. It offers a variety of educational, informational, research, and training services to several health care professionals, students and institutions. MAHEC additionally operates several family and dental centers.
