Dr. McGuire is an excellent therapist. She is also an unusually bright and insightful person, a steady guide, teacher and healthy role model. I wouldn't recommend Dr. McGuire for those who choose therapy as a way of life or interesting pastime, but if you're ready to explore your mind and gut and move on she talks straight and listens well.

She is often referred to as one of the best pyschologists within the Asheville area. She has a rare insight into the issues of affective disorders and offers keen and appropriate and advice for these problems. She asks ....even sometimes demands that she be allowed to consult with other treating physicians.ensure you get the best overall medical care. She demands absolute honesty in answers to her questions to assure that she has your truth in pscyological treatment. I do not have assurance of good psychological treatment from other psychologists........but Dr. McGuire methods assure such. She is a doctor of perfection.. She is rare among the many.
