I would not recommend the Asheland Ave. office to any woman in Western North Carolina. Just calling the office to schedule an appointment or to get through to speak to a nurse is a nightmare. The front staff in person and on the phone are extremely rude and unwelcoming. I can't imagine having to deal with them regularly during a pregnancy. This past year I made a lot of office visits hoping to get a solution to a recurring problem. They kept scheduling me to see a nurse instead of my regular doctor. I didn't know it at the time but they kept misdiagnosing me! My last visit the nurse was supposed to consult with my doctor for a solution that evening and call me back the next day. I never received a phone call. I can't believe I wasted so much time and money there. I even had a hard time getting my medical records! My new doctor's office took care of it but AVL Women's called to confirm transferring the records and had the nerve to suggest I cancel my yearly exam!

Agree. Receptionist was totally rude. Also absent from desk. Announces personal information loudly so that other patients hear. Ultrasound tech was nice. I called to let her know I would be 5 min late out of courtesy, she said that "Well if you are late we will give it to someone else, we dont hold spots here" and when I came was gone from desk for 5 minutes, then I stood there while she was talking to a nurse, answered the phone without acknowledging my presence. Finally when she acknowledged, said I was too late (when I wasn't) and that I lost my appointment!! I asked nicely if there is anything she could do, and she said "Well, I dont know, you were late, and we are completely booked" without even looking. I had to ask if she could please check the system, or call someone. She did not want to, but said Fine and when she did they had an opening and she said nothing to me. Just told me to Go have a Seat.I asked her again after waiting 10 mins, apt at 3. Very mean.

Absoultely the worst custmer service I have ever seen. Rude staff. Would not recommend.
