CARING for Children is a community-based home for children that provides solutions in crisis due to family conflict, abuse, neglect, behavior problems and mental health issues. Its Angels Watch Crisis and Respite Foster Care program offers temporary crisis and respite care services for children up to the age of 6. CARING for Children s Therapeutic Foster Care program serves youth who have behavioral, emotional, medical and mental health problems. Its CrossRoads is a program that operates a North Carolina-certified nonpublic school that provides school-time programming. The program also offers a job coach program that assists youth with vocational assessment and interview and job skills training. It provides diagnostic assessment service that is a mental health service. CARING for Children maintains multiple locations in Asheville, N.C.
