I took a lamp to a competitor on Dec. 6. Was told that it would take a month to get the part and do the repair. Finally on Feb 12 when the part had still not yet been ordered I took the lamp to Biltmore Lamp and Shade and Nate repaired it on the spot in about 15 minutes! Both employees were most personable. 5 stars doesn't rate my experience highly enough.

Can't wait to see what Christmas will look like this year at BL&S. We just had some friends visit and they loved your shop. Thanks for shipping their items. wither youre rewiring some find of ours from Europe or finding and ordering a new reading lamp for us, Pail and Pat you are the best. Rose M

As the holiday season approaches this is a must visit. We have used their pine reed defusers in the church for the Christmas season, and people thought we used real trees. Paul and Pat take time with each customer and treat them all with respect and are glad you stopped in.

Paul's shop is one of the places I always take guests visiting Asheville. Paul and Pat love meeting and connecting with their clients. From high end Antiques to great seasonal decorations at fair prices, its all there. With a constant flow of items refreshing the store there is always something had not noticed before. Its a busy place that still manages to do fast excellent repair and provide superior shade selection with the most personal service possible

A TREASURE!!! Asheville and Biltmore Village are so lucky to have this Quality shop with their extensive inventory of lamps, shades and fabulous antiques!! Whether it is an extensive repair, a simple part, advice on a period antique, the correct shade, or even referrals to other shops, Paul and Pat are gracious and always helpful. DON'T MISS their elegant CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE, I am the first in line. Thank you.

This is one of the most unique shops I have ever experienced. The antiques are unusual as well as beautiful The lamp repair service is efficient and timely. Whether you are looking for a shade, a candle, or fine antique, you will find Paul and Pat ready to assist. I love this shop and recommend to every one that visits.
Okay, list this little shop as a MUST HAVE on your design source list. Paul and Pat have some of the most incredible antiques and lighting in Asheville. Paul is the best at rewiring, reworking, restoring your vintage lighting. If you need it fast, consider it DONE. They will call you as soon as it is ready, which is unusually very quick considering they may have to order a special part. As far as their lamp shades, Paul and Pat have a thousand, but with their skilled eyes they will happily help you find the perfect match. Stop by this fabulous little shop regularly as inventory changes. The staging of home goods in this shop makes their design finds extra special. You'll soon discover it helps clients visualize these incredible one-of-a-kind antiques in their own home!

This is a must stop everytime we go to Asheville! Our biggest purchase were two bronze deer (from a local estate) we bought from them last year and have enjoyed the immensely!
Busy little store! Paul and Pat are great picking out really cool shades for my lamps. They also rewire and repair, and generally pretty fast too. I like browsing the antiques and the christmas decorations in season. You really have to hunt to find this kind of service today. Do ask questions, they seem to know about everything.
