you should hire people who have face tattoos. i can tell you im more hard working than most people need a better jon to get them removed.

To whom it may concern. My observation of the Stop & Shop in Arverne is as follows. The pick a nbr machine has been out of order since the Hurricane. Garbage in parking lot and where carts are stored. Employees are taking trash left in cart and just throwing it in parking lot. Many times no carts available and no bags in self check out lines. Mgr. has been advised of Pic a nbr machine, in deli numerous times. As a customer only being there about 20 mins can see these things how come the Mgr. who is there all day can't. And he's getting paid for it.

Having this store in the area is so convenient. It is clean and the staff are always courteous. The plus is the pharmacy, one stop shopping, even get flu shot and takes your insurance. better than waiting in a Doctors office with all the other sick people. Kudos to Stop in Shop...hope it stays this way.

The facilities and variety in produce and products, overall, is satisfactory. The service, however, is based on luck. Many of the staff behind registers are VERY slow especially when you need help in the "self-checkout" section. They typically do not know the produce and therefore takes them longer to bring up the prices for the product, however, once in a while you will get a great cashier who has a smile, asks how you are doing and is very prompt and polite. Also, a lot of times you may have to bag your own groceries since (as mentioned before) A LOT of the staff is slow and spends a lot of time just talking to each other about shopping. A great amount of cash lanes are ALWAYS closed at the busiest of hours like in the evening when people are coming back from work- very incompetent. The other staff such as the pharmacist are phenomenal! Patrick, is very professional and polite. People in the meat and deli section are great too! Save nerves for the check-out lane,you will need it!

so far the store remains clean.. produce and meats are at their freshest, and most of all the staff are couteous and polite.
