The Arvada Police Department is the law enforcement agency for the sixth-largest city in Colorado. With a staff of more than 200 people, the department serves Arvada's population, which is more than 100,000. The city of Arvada enjoys one of the lowest crime rates in the Denver metro area. Through community police efforts, its officers continually strive to help reduce crime, the fear of crime and improve the quality of life of community members. The Arvada Police Department is an accredited agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.
