Don't shop at Shirley's!!! We went in to the shop in Carlsbad, NM to buy a dress for my Granddaughters prom and I have never been treated so shabbily in my life. If this had not been the last resort in town for a last minute dress we would have walked out and never looked back. Not only were we made to feel that we were putting them out but also made us feel like we needed to be watched every second for fear that we might steal something... give me a break!! The gowns are huge and we didn't so much as have a bag between us. They were very rude. What should have been a very special time between grandmother and granddaughter turned into a very tense time. She left with a beautiful gown and she had a wonderful time at her prom but it sure tainted the day and we will never be back to this particular shop again. Looks like we will be looking for the Sr. prom dress out of town..... again....
