Ocean View Elementary School is a learning facility that provides a range of educational services for students in kindergarten through grade six. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 470 students. It provides classes in language arts, math and reading. Ocean View Elementary School focuses on developing decision-making skills and offers parent involvement activities. It has a staff of over 30 teachers. The school has partnerships with Dimond Greenhouses and Steamers Coffee Shop. It is a part of the Anchorage School District, which enrolls nearly 50,000 students in elementary, middle and high schools. The district operates art, accounting, assistive technology, business management, communications, health services and library curriculum departments. It has schools throughout Alaska. The Anchorage School District s schools offer a variety of special education programs for gifted and talented students. Its schools serve students in kindergarten through grade 12.
