Dr. Lyudmila Shvets-Gabriel specializes in all endocrine disorders, including thyroid abnormalities (thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, over- and under-active thyroid), pituitary gland disorders; type 1 and type 2 diabetes; hormonal imbalance; brittle bone disease/ osteoporosis and vitamin D deficiency; calcium abnormalities; obesity; and weight loss.Dr. Shvets-Gabriel received her medical degree from St. George's University and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, where she received an Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award for the development of a streamlined protocol for electrolyte replacement in critically ill patients.She is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.
