On my way home from a camping trip. My 7.3 powerstroke check engine light came on. Called 4 places near me and they were only shop that could get me in. Noel plugged scanner in. Said I had a bad IDM. $1000.00 and he happened to have the right one on his shelf. Also had them change my glow plug relay. Another $100.00. Noel was nice and took me to an atm to get him some cash to pay for the work. Truck was good no check engine light on. I left his shop(never went for a test drive) made it about 10 miles down the freeway. Light came back on and truck would hardly move. I called him right away. He was at lunch and would call me back. 43 minutes later I got a returned call. He said he would need me to bring it back. I was half way home by then. 40 miles from his shop. With traffic it would have taken 2+ hours to get back there. Noel said he would call me and let me know when he had room for me to get it up to his shop to be worked on. This was on a Thursday. I called my local Ford dealer Saturday took in and on Monday they fixed my problem. A $35.00 plug. Looked like it was damaged when glow plug relay was changed. Cost me $266.00 at ford. Noel called me finally on Thursday following week and said he had room for it now. Told him what happened and his reply was "so its fixed, sounds good." I thanked him for getting back to me so promptly when I explained that I needed my truck fixed asap. He just muddled and said good. So do your homework before you go see Noel. I personally will not return. They need to learn some customer service.

I had my F 250 towed to Westcoast Diesel, because the tow company, that towed my f250 recommended them.My injector pump, had gone bad,, so I was unable to pull my 5th wheel at all, which meant I would have to leave it on the side of the highway, and it would probably get towed away..I honestly didn't have enough money to have my 5th wheel towed, with the truck.I was tired, had been messing with the truck for 2 days myself I was trying to avoid an $800 tow bill. I spent money trying to fix it myself, that ended up costing me more money in the end,my efforts at repairing my vehicle, were not working. The owner of Westcoast Diesel ,noel, took his personal truck, drove it 50 miles, picked up my 5th wheel on the highway, and brought it back to the shop, and put it in the parking lot overnight, bought us sub sandwiches, for dinner because it was late,we haven't eaten anything. He reassure me that tomorrow we would find out what the problem was with the truck. He never charged me a dime for the fuel used to get my fifth wheel,or his time. They diagnosed the problem, which was my injector pump, and injectors. They did a few other little things, such as tightening my belt, and a few other things,i was having issues with my transmission shifting late, and he fixed it too My estimate to my fix my vehicle was actually 10% less than what it was when I was given the original quote.I was worried he was going to be like other shops, and I was going to get my bill, and get charged for things I had not ask for.i wad afraid it was going to have a charge for the ajustment on the transmission, and for tightening my belt, when I payed my bill, there wasn't any charge for anything I didn't ask for. I was shocked. The people, that work at Westcoast Diesel, really care about not just my vehicle, but people , they care. I mean, he went out of his way for us and he didn't have to.I've never experienced anything like that. they're actually certified in diesel, and automotive repairs, they really know what they're doing. There were no unnecessary repairs, or diagnostics,i have found to be the case at alot of shops, because they are trying to diagnose your vehicle, but dont know what they are doing, and it costs you in the end.Noel knew what was wrong with my truck before he even looked at it just from what I described, then he diagnosed it any way to be sure.it was exactly what he said it was.the people who work at westcoast diesel are very knowledgeable, super cool, and awesome, honest, people.I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.Westcoast Diesel is #1 in my book,my truck has never run better.thank you noel, thank you Luke.Sincerely S Tucker. 12/16/2014
