Stay away from this place. I went to this vet because I needed to board my sister’s cats while she was in the hospital for an emergency surgery. The boarding kennel told be that the cats needed to be current on vaccines and I had no idea where to find the cats medical records so I decided to just have them vaccinated again. I chose this clinic because they could see the cats right away and they were cheap. My first impression of the clinic was how dirty it was. The floor looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks and the chairs and exam room were just as dirty. The person at the front desk was indifferent and rude. The best description of Dr. Gowen is greasy. He dressed like a car mechanic. He repeatedly tried to sell me things I did not want and tried to talk me into boarding the cats in his clinic rather than a kennel. I just told him to vaccinate the cats. I paid the bill and left. Later when I was able to talk with my sister, she told me she takes her cats to another veterinarian. This place is cheap for a good reason, a dirty clinic, rude staff and a creepy veterinarian. I have no doubt there are much better places to take your per to. It may cost more but it will be well worth the extra money.

Dr. Steven Gowan is a great vet. He is extremely knowledgeable and is open to "alternative" care. Love his personal touch!
