Dr. Klassner grew up in Scranton, PA. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton with degrees in Biology and Philosophy, and a minor in Biochemistry. She earned her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, where she ranked in the top 10 of her class and was chosen upon graduation to receive the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for excellence in all areas of restorative dentistry. Dr. Klassner completed a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network. What she enjoys most about dentistry is interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds, particularly children. She believes being a good dentist starts with being a good listener. Her primary focus is on patient education, minimizing discomfort, and making sure each patient leaves her room flashing a bright, proud smile. Dr. Klassner is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists study club. In addition to her private practice experience, Dr. Klassner has provided urgent dental care to military service members through the Reserve Health Readiness Program since 2008. She has traveled to the Virgin Islands, Germany, and American Samoa, as well as military bases all over the United States. She also shares her time and talents with the community through Give Kids a Smile and Mission of Mercy programs. In her free time, Dr. Klassner enjoys long distance running, live music, and road trips with her husband Don. She is also constantly working on her golf skills and always welcomes new tips and tricks to improve her game!
