The Association of the United States Army is a private nonprofit educational organization that supports United States Army s National Guard, reserve, retirees and family members. It develops programs and activities that provide community support for army through individual and corporate members. Its family programs advocates for army families and coordinates various activities to support the needs and interests of family members. The association also educates family members to ease the strain of military life. Its book program offers military books about army heritage, military theory and policy and military force in the modern world. Additionally, it provides army magazine to members and is located in Alexandria, Va.
