The Bowen Rd. site is a Great example of a family diner! Super breakfasts. Vegetables always cook fresh and properly, terrific hamburgers; PASTRIES OUTSTANDING.... best pies I have seen anywhere in Metroplex. Service is terrific... take time to visit with them. I have read some negative reviews... don't know where these people ate, but choosing eggs benedict in a diner??? Can't speak for the other Jay Jay sites (don't eat there), but the Bowen establishment is a long-time family favorite!

Had lunch at Jay Jay on Fielder. Service was good. I ordered catfish, turnips and cold slaw. The cold slaw was excellent. The catfish was horrible, imported most likely from Vietnam, was fishy smelling, tough and very thin. Not real catfish by any means.
