This was a nightmare. 1st time to go to this type of doctor. Appt. Scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time, paperwork, insurance etc. done on line for "faster service". Get on the elevator, step out you have 2 doors, one is the gun shop and the other is the psychologist door. Well gee, I'm depressed and angry, which door should I pick. Idiots. Go in and sign in, 1:30 appt. only 11 people in the little waiting room and only 4 new patient appointments ahead of mine. REALLY? My appointment is at 1:30. 2 hours after arrival, asked for my papers back, had to leave for another appointment to pick up my children from school. Office staff are hateful, disorganized and obnoxious. Made me sign a form that they can charge me if I don't keep my appointment signed and wrote, will send her a bill if she doesn't keep mine at 1:30. This was a horrible horrible experience, added stress that I didn't need and was seeking help from in the first place. I was so angry when I left, all I could do is cry. I waited two weeks to see this Dr. IF I WOULD OF STOPPED TO READ OTHERS REVIEWS FIRST, I wouldn't of even wasted my time. SAME STORY from everyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

As far as Dr. Haque herself, I LOVE her. She's incredibly knowledgeable and stays informed on the latest studies & research. She's blunt - which I actually like - but she really is caring and she listens, REALLY listens, to the patient's concerns, experiences and preferences. And she's personable, which in a psychiatrist is important and not so common. I've actually encouraged a close family member to switch to Dr. Haque. Unfortunately, the front office staff leaves much to be desired. From what I can tell, one staff member in particular is rude & unprofessional. In all fairness, though, I believe Dr. Haque is well aware of this (because I've told her :o) ) and I've noticed small improvements with the staff. Bottom line, if you can get past the office staff, Dr. Haque is fantastic. Highly recommend. (I've left a similar review on another - medical-related - website. Not spamming; just sharing to help others avoid having to search for months for a good doctor)

Dr. Seema Haque is a very professional, capable, top of the line psychiatrist. I have been to many in my life and she really does know her stuff. Sometimes I am in and out of the appointment and other days we spend more time on certain things. But I guarantee you, Dr. Haque always asks the right questions and is on top of her game. She has helped me so much. Also, Laurie, in her office, is really nice and so helpful. That makes such a big difference. Truly. They rock!!!! I really do recommend her.

Dr Haque is very RUDE! She is very unprofessional! She spent like 20 min with me and wrote me a prescription, slid it at the end of her desk and told me "good luck" I asked her was that all? She said yes. She also advised me that she would not speak to my employer about my diagnose(s). I advised her that my employer might contact her requesting clinical information, and she told me that if they do, she was going to tell them "no comment". I asked her was she serious and that's all just "good luck" she looked at me and said uh huh. I left the prescription on her desk and went to talk to the receptionist. I wasn't loud nor rude at all. Dr Haque then came out of her office and told me to leave her office. I asked her again just "good luck" no follow up appointment or nothing? And she said again, leave my office or I will call the police! Upon returning home I called her office and asked her receptionist for Dr Haque's license number. She told me that she didn't know it and Dr Haque was in a session. I told her that I would hold. She hung up the phone, and turned their recording on when I called back. Then, Dr Haque called me back and said "you know what since you wanna play games and threaten me i'm gonna call your insurance company and tell them everything we talked about" then she hung up the phone. I wouldn't recommend her to my dog/cat if they needed to see a psychiatrist! She has very poor customer service, you can't trust her, and no concern for your life issues! My overall rating is "0"!
