From Houston and this place was so deliouse I got 2 plates for lunch to take back with me for work. Friendly people and so nice. Prices are very good too. When I come back to Dallas I will for sure eat here again.
No, I don't work here, and am not related to the waitress. My wife and I Barely saw this little place (in a bad location), and decided to try it out. Friendly people, with really good BBQ. It was all juicy, smoky flavored meat. Only drawback was the price, but worth it if you want the Best Pulled Pork! Gotta try the Passion Fruit Tea!
It's hard to find a grade A place you can take the whole family in a big city, but Avery's is the place to be!!! I have a large family that includes 5 young kids, and when you can walk out of a place for under $30.00 full and smiling..... its a place you'll want to return to :) The food is amazing, fresh and cooked slowly to perfection!
As soon as you walk in the door and hear "Come on in darlin' " you've just met Mary or her daughters .... , and you'll know your in the right place :) Don't change a thing Avery's. DONT FIX IT IF IT AINT BROKEN!!!
Avery's is the place to try for great BBQ at a affordable price. The Ribs, Homemade Links and Avery's Wild Wings is excellent. IT make you suck the bone. The enviorment is comfortable.
