Lutheran Home & Services was started by congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in 1892. It is a long-term health care and retirement facility offering senior and family care services. Located in Arlington Heights, Ill., the facility is spread across more than 80 acres, and provides accommodation for seniors in need of assisted living, nursing and special memory loss care services. Lutheran Home offers rehabilitation services in its Medicare-approved nursing area. It has a health care staff comprising licensed therapists for physical and occupational therapies, and speech pathology. The center also provides comprehensive care management services, including homemaker and companion care, medication management, skilled nursing, certified nursing aide and personal care assistance, and rehabilitation therapies. Additionally, the center offers pastoral care, adult day services, parish nurse program and child care services.
