General Info
Dr. Jay DeHart graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where he served on the alumni board. In addition to practicing all aspects of general dentistry, he is trained in placing implants. Dr. DeHart was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia but his heart has always been in the Chicago-area. He is a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan. He has previously practiced in the city of Chicago, and is happy to call Arlington Heights home. Family is a priority for Dr. DeHart, who is married to wife, Colleen. Together they have two boys, Jackson and Parker, and a house full of pets. When not in the office, he can be found grilling in his backyard, playing baseball with his kids, or cheering the Mountaineers on. Every once in a while he enjoys a good skate around the ice rink where he plays club hockey. Dr. DeHart knows the importance of having a healthy, beautiful smile, and prides himself on staying up-to-date on the latest in dental technology and procedures. He cares greatly about the well-being and satisfaction of his patients and will work diligently to get them a smile they are proud of. He feels being honest and ethical is an important dental quality and doesn’t try to pressure patients into procedures that aren’t necessary.
