Lower Merion High School is operated by the Lower Merion School District. It has more than 1,500 students in grades nine to 12. It offers honors courses in English, math, science, social studies, business and fine arts. It also offers foreign language courses in Latin, Spanish, French and Japanese. It offers advanced placement courses in physics, chemistry, biology, statistics, mechanics and computer science. It offers various sports activities, including cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, cheering, squash, hockey, basketball, track, tennis, softball, baseball and golf. It guidance department provides seminars on college applications, self-reflections, resume development and interviewing. It has various clubs, including chess, cultural, engineering, environmental, film and photography, art, cooking, Spanish and French. Lower Merion High School is located in Ardmore, Pa.
