Founded in 1964 as a nine-man operation in the 9,000 square foot tool shop, Alliance-Carolina now employs more than 200 individuals in 66,900 square feet of facilities. Its clients include IBM, Lexmark, Phillips, Pitney Bowes, Robert Bosch Corporation, Siemens, Sonoco Crellin, Southeastern Container, Stanadyne, Sunbeam, Teleflex and Tyco. The company serves the Automotive, Computer and Printer, Consumer, Electronics, Medical and Textile industries. Alliance-Carolina provides surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drills, saws, inspection equipment, hot oil circulators, water temperature controllers, heat treating and welding products and software. The company features products of several brands, such as Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Van Dorn and Newbury.
