Petersen Events Corporation was founded by Richard and Peggy Petersen in 1984 as a furniture and party rental company supplying premium quality furniture to show producers and event organizers in Southern California. Son Guy Petersen took over Petersen Events in 1995 and expanded into trade and consumer show decorating as well as event production. In 2000 Petersen Events began producing the Off Road Expo, quickly becoming the largest show of its kind in the United States. Held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California (home to the LA County Fair), Off Road Expo was the premier off road event, catering to the light truck aftermarket community, sponsored by Toyota Trucks and exhibited by national companies. Since the sale of our event in 2005, we have continued to supply equipment and services to event organizers throughout Southern California. Our experience is what sets us apart from the other companies and our goal will always be to make your event the best it can be.
