The local Drug dealers in town! If you want Opiates just stop on by Dr. Smith's office, they will see that you get plenty to sell on the streets and enough to keep you addicted. The Drug addicts in town keep this office busy, so you might want to get there early.

horrible place to go. no matter when you're appointment is you will wait at least 2 hours to get out of the office/ be seen. it is ridiculous! the staff is completely rude and stuck up! I will never recommended this place to any one ever! changing doctors today.

Dr. Smith has been a wonderful physician. I will probably never change doctors. He's very compassionate and very knowledgable.

I do not feel this office should be open for business. They are not concerned with keeping their patients medical information private. I have overheard them discussing other patients personal care in front of the waiting area and on the phone arguing with a patients...stating their full name and medications that they take. Medical care should be kept private and this office does not. If the patients on the other end of the phone knew that their names and personal info was being shouted out to everyone. A few of the staff can be rude at times as well. I will have to say if you are looking for a quack office then you have found it here but for someone that is truely concerned with their medical care please run in the other direction...and run fast. This office is the least bit professional. You know its bad when their own staff post comments as to the one below. I had to put "1 star" on the rating to leave a comment but I do not feel they deserve even to be rated with 1 star.

I was a new resident to Appomattox County 3 years ago & needed a good family doctor that was close to home. My neighbor referred me to Dr. Larry Smith. I have to say that he is the best doctor in the area & one of the best that I have ever been treated by. He is very thorough, caring, and is sincerely interested in the reason for your visit whether it be for injury or illness. He is paitent and does not try to rush you in and out like most offices I have been to in the past. I would rate his practice a 4.5 only due to the fact that sometimes there is a long wait time if you are a walk-in (which is the case anyway with most doctors). However, if your situation is an emergency you will be taken care of immediatly. The quality of care I received surpasses the wait time for a walk-in visit. I recomend Dr. Smith to anyone in the Appomattox area cause he is by far the remarkably the best and sincerely interested in improving your quality of life.
